| Description: |
Location - Guernsey (Channel Islands). Prepare and assist in the preparation and review of the financial statements of entities administered by the Private Equity department in a timely, efficient and accurate manner adhering to the highest standards. More senior levels may also be expected to supervise and train junior staff.
Prepare and circulate accounts timetables
Support in planning activity of team
Review of management fees and distribution calculations
Advise on potential accounting issues & best practises
Design proforma accounts, ensuring they are in accordance with appropriate regulations/standards
Agree proforma with clients/auditors
Maintain capital accounts for limited partnerships
Liaising with other departments.
Initial review accounts and working papers
Maintenance of client relationships
Liaising re closing down of accounting periods
Checking & maintaining ledger integrity
Preparing standard accounts file
Completion of appropriate checklists
Liaising with auditors/printers
Preparing accounts for manager review/clearing points
Sending accounts for inclusion in board packs
Information for US tax returns when requested
Submitting GFSC notifications
Preparation and submission of Guernsey tax returns
Monitoring trainees and monitoring their progress
Delegation of work and constructive reviewing
Setting priorities and maintaining progress
Growing a culture of good practice
Understanding key compliance issues |
