Location - London W6. Our Client is a medical software company that is uniquely positioned to help the NHS to improve patient care, safety, and experience. Together with NHS professionals they have created an application suite which enables clinicians to easily and effectively identify deteriorating patients by allowing real-time monitoring of a patient’s condition.
This application is a real-time software system which allows clinicians to record, store, and analyse patients’ vital signs information. This data is shared across a network, making it accessible from PDAs, tablet PCs and from the hospital Intranet.
Essential / Demonstrable skills:
• For this role you will need solid skills in C#, .NET, ASP.Net and SQL Server
• The applicant must have at least two year’s commercial development experience
• Good design skills (UI, schema, code structure/classes, web services etc)
• Knowledge and experience of efficient coding and defensive programming techniques;
• Good verbal and written English skills.
• Hands-on software development responsibility throughout all phases of product lifecycle
Desirable:
• Windows Mobile experience
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle
Description of the role:
With a rapidly growing customer base and an increasing demand for enhanced functionality we are looking to recruit an experienced software engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will work on the front end user interface and the back end web services and database systems.
The successful applicant will work within a team that is responsible for extending, maintaining and developing the company’s existing product set along with the creation of new complementary products from the ground up.
This includes involvement in areas such as design/development of code, database design, gathering and documenting requirements, testing, configuration control & release/build processes etc.
Primarily this is an internal role but there will be some involvement with client-driven projects, working with the consulting group and support team.
Qualifications
• BEng/BSc or equivalent qualification in a technical discipline

• Self motivated, independent, proactive and able to work effectively in a group
• Experience of working with recognised development processes with experience of all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle; |
